Courtney Elchynski

Courtney’s administrative skills and love of serving others makes her a perfect fit as an Executive Assistant. She supports Alec in his role as Visionary by triaging and responding to emails, managing administrative tasks, and helping to keep projects moving forward. Her favorite part of her job is the sense that she’s making a difference by being of service.

Courtney earned a B.S. in Child Development and Early Education from The Ohio State University. She worked in Early Education for 6 years before joining VisionSpark. She was born in Southern California, but moved to Ohio in 1998.  One thing she loves about living in Columbus is meeting other transplants and learning their stories. While Courtney is admittedly a fan of Ohio State football, she is an even bigger fan of TBDBITL. She likes watching and re-watching episodes of The West Wing and The Office, traveling, and trying new foods.

Courtney and her husband, Brendan, just bought a house. When she’s not spending time with her daughter, Caroline, she enjoys painting and doing smaller house projects to make their new house a home for her family.

Q; If you weren’t working for VisionSpark, what would you be doing?
A: I would be with my family, managing our household, volunteering with our church and community.

Q: What are you doing personally or professionally to further your development?
A: I am an avid reader and a careful observer. I almost always have a couple books on my coffee table, and I love to listen to audiobooks and NPR. Right now I am taking in all that VisionSpark is, learning the EOS lingo, and familiarizing myself with all of the characters in this world.
