Edward Davis
Edward is a dynamic and results-driven Search Consultant with a passion for helping businesses find their perfect fit. With a strong background in Project and Program Management, Continuous Improvement, Operations Management, and Field Engineering, Edward brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the VisionSpark team.
Edward holds an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics and a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Management, both from the DeVry Institute of Technology, where he achieved Dean’s List honors. He has also completed courses toward a Master of Business Management with a concentration in Project Management at Keller Graduate School of Management. Edward’s certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Lean Six Sigma White Belt, and certifications from InterNACHI as a Professional Home Inspector.
Edward was drawn to VisionSpark for the opportunity to utilize his expertise in operations, project management, and continuous improvement to make a meaningful impact by connecting the right talent with the right businesses. In his role, he supports Visionaries and entrepreneur-led businesses by executing executive search strategies, building relationships, and delivering exceptional results for clients and candidates.
Born in Sandusky, Ohio, Edward relocated to Central Ohio in 1995 to attend college. He loves the diversity and growth of Columbus—and enjoys playfully teasing Ohio State fans. Outside of work, Edward is deeply passionate about baseball. He is a player/manager and team trustee for the Columbus Braves Men’s Adult Baseball League, as well as a youth coordinator for Major League Baseball’s R.B.I. program. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and softball, gardening, mountain biking, and attending festivals with his family.
Edward and his wife Cindy live in Central Ohio with their three children, Amiah, Cecelia, and Rowen. A devoted fan of the Oakland Athletics and Florida State Seminoles, Edward is an avid reader of Malcolm Gladwell and Ryan Holiday, drawn to their thought-provoking perspectives on success and personal growth.
Q. If you weren’t working for VisionSpark, what would you be doing?
A. I’d be playing baseball or coaching youth teams, soaking in the camaraderie and competition of the game. I’d also be traveling with my wife and kids, trying to visit every Major League Baseball park we can while enjoying the beauty of the fields and the life lessons shared along the way.
Q. What are you doing personally or professionally to further your development?
A. I’m committed to lifelong learning through professional development courses, conferences, and events related to project management. Staying curious and connected fuels my growth both personally and professionally.
